V6.1 - Incoming inspection on "Other" items

I don't know much about the process, but I do know that the
items have to be received before they will appear on the PO Receipts
tab in Inspection Processing.

purchased for "Other"? It doesn't seem to, but the "Help" file
broadstrokes the definition, leading one to think that it would. I
always assumed it did, but our internal process didn't care as long as
an "Other" part was not rejected. Our receiver / inspecter couldn't
do anything with a recent rejection and brought this to my attention.
I can somewhat understand the logic, but it wasn't what I expected.
If it does not work for "Other" parts, what are the rest of you doing?
