V6.1 Labor Entry, vs Data Collection user

This may be a long shot but I suspect this is related to AMM...which I assume you have if the Part Tracker WIP tab is active. We are still "playing" with AMM trying to decide if we should buy it and we are discovering all sorts of little differences. Perhaps someone who has been using AMM for awhile can shed some light on this. You may need to manually do the WIP movement for the labor entry transaction.

Subject: [Vantage] v6.1 Labor Entry, vs Data Collection user.

Hi Group.

I have noticed a strange occurrence, and would like to know where did
I go wrong on this.

If I enter Labor Qty via Labor Entry, of 100 pieces, this doesn't show
up in the finished goods' Part Tracker WIP tab!
And when I perform a Receive from Manufacturing, I can see a -100
transaction logged in there.

If I do the same thing via the Data Collector license, and entered
Labor Qty of 100 pieces, I can see 100 shown in WIP for the finished
goods.
And when I receive from manufacturing to my warehouse, there's another
transaction -100 to reduce the variance.

Is there something that I'm missing here? Why would my labor entry not
reporting the units produced in Part Tracker's WIP Tab?

Thank you
