V6.1 - Non-standard Work Week

We have Workcenters set up with machines of the same number. We are one to one on machines so we can do this. If you have multiple machines in a workcenter I'm not sure if this will work, but this is how we have it set up:

Job Management
Master File Maint
Workcenter
Choose and Work Center - Enter
Click on Machines tab on bottom right of screen
Either Update or Add machine. If you have machines already set up, just go in and check the appropriate hours boxes and that is what it will use for scheduling. You can also use this for scheduling if you want to add hours for a particular weekend. Have hours loaded for Sat and Sun and then just turn on the specific days in the calander for those work centers.
Keep in mind the hours here should match the hours on the WorkCenter main screen.

Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.

Hi,

You may want to look at linking machines into your workcentres but I
am not totally sure if this would work. It depends on your business
etc.

I hope this helps

The work week for our production folks is 4 days @ 9 hours + 1 day @ 4
hours. Is there any way to account for this in the Production
Calendar? The closest I can get is a 5 days @ 9 hours. Any
suggestions?

Hi,
