V6.1 - Sales tax rounding and reporting error

We have an odd rounding error occurring in version 6.1.541. When
calculating the Sales Tax, Vantage is stealing pennies to have the total tax
correct. The condition occurs when there is more than one Sales tax in a
Tax Region. If there is only one tax applied everything totals correctly.

This is not a crystal form issue. These are the values displayed in the Tax
window under A/R Invoice Entry -> Invoice ->Tax

In Hennepin County, MN, we have 3 sales taxes: State, 6.875%; County, .15%;
and Transit, .25%.

On an invoice total of $1776,

the taxes should be when "by invoice": State, $122.10; County, $2.66; and
Transit, 4.44; (Total taxes- $129.20)

for a Grand Total of $ 1905.20

HOWEVER,

On an invoice total of $1776,

the taxes shown are "by invoice" : State, $122.08; County, $2.67; and
Transit, 4.45; (Total taxes- $129.20)

for a Grand Total of $ 1905.20

So I removed the all the taxes and reentered them, State tax last.

Now the tax totals are: State, $122.10; County, $2.67; and Transit, 4.43;
(Total taxes- $129.20)

No Kidding.

Again these values are from the Tax window under A/R Invoice Entry ->
Invoice ->Tax.

Could somebody please check the v6.1 change list for .543 and see if this
has been fixed.

Thank you very much,

David Gartner
