V8.00.8 Multi-part jobs

What happens without the demand link? Does it stop you from adding the
part number to the job?

We have the Advanced Production Module. We are also just trying to get
the system up and running. I would say the "Advanced" word is a bit of
an over statement. At least in terms of what we want it to do.

The feature does work as described in documentation. It is time
consuming process though. You have to add each part to the job and
create a demand link for each part.

We are running 8.03.305H. You will want the latest as well as the
Concurrent /Sequential drop down box was just fixed i last release.

Hello group,

Its been a while, I just moved on to a new Company using Vantage 8.0.
What a jump from 6.0. This group has been a great help in the past, I
hope you guys are ready for the dozens of dumb questions I'll have
over the next few months?

Here's the first,
We do not have the Advanced Production Module but might get it if a
specific feature (multi-part jobs) works like described in the help
screens. Does anybody out there have the advanced production module
and has anybody used this feature? We would like to use this feature
to reverse build (decommission) a finished part.
