V8.03.405a to 9.04.506 conversion

I would hope that db conversions don't create change log entries...
The conversion that in effect grew the original db by 50% is called Set Unique ID Part 2 and the install guide says it places a Unique GUID in the SysRowID column of every table. Now in my warped way of thinking, If every table had 2 fields and you added a third, then yeah a 50% increase in size makes sense. Now I am sure there is db overhead in maintaining a unique index to every record in the db, but still......

Started with 8Gb db it was slightly over 9Gb when done with Schema change and Mandatory conversions.
Finished Conversion 9890 and DB is now over 13Gb whoa!

Anyone recall similar bloat when doing this upgrade?

Would a Dump and Load be advisable before trying to take next step to 9.05.600 ?
That's about the same magnitude of change for our database from 8 to 9 as well.
