[V8.03]Customization - Can you reorder columns in a grid view?

Glad it helped... stumbled on it by accident months ago and it has become an indispensable trick.

I tried this and it worked.

Thanks!

On our Order Tracker, Summary tab, Line Detail grid view (at the
bottom) we applied a global customization to un-hide the TotalShipped
column. This works great but it appears off to the right and each user
has to scroll over, drag it back to the left, and then save the
personalization.

Is there a way, through customization, to reorder the columns in a
grid? So that each user does not have to drag it over? (best method)

Or can I apply a personalization, to all users? (least desirable method)

Thanks for any help,

Bruce
I've found that if you open the app in developer mode, restore personalization changes to base (and save layout), then drag your columns to whatever order you desire (but NOT save layout) - then enter customization mode and save this as a customization.

Menu enable the customization, and it (almost always - but not for every app I've tried this with) should load for all users with your column layout changes as part of the customization base.

(Users will invariably then layer their own personalizations on top of this.)

Usually works...

Bruce
I tried this and it worked.
