V8_811B: Dymo Label Printer-crystal report inconsistencies

Oddly enough, we suddenly had this error show up this week. (It
must be in the water). Equally oddly, we found we could get around
it by making another network printer the default printer for the
user's computer. In some cases we had to try several other printers
before finding one that would eliminate the error. Good luck.

general reprinting of an inventory label for any part currently in
inventory (Which is a blatantly obvious and sorely missing feature
in vantage). Using Crystal XI R2. The print preview and test from
vantage using data all works fine from my dymo label printer. We are
all using the same latest drivers for dymo and using the 30252
address label format.

I have designed a label for the Dymo Printer in Crystal and it works
fine when I do a print from Crystal. When I try it through Vantage 6.1
Quality Assurance/General Operations/Inspection Processing/PO Receipts
it feeds half way down the label before it begins to print and then
prints the rest on a second label. It even shows this on print preview.
Any ideas?

I have designed a label for the Dymo Printer in Crystal and it works
fine when I do a print from Crystal. When I try it through Vantage 6.1
Quality Assurance/General Operations/Inspection Processing/PO Receipts
it feeds half way down the label before it begins to print and then
prints the rest on a second label. It even shows this on print preview.
Any ideas?

Interesting coincidence I should see this email thread just as I encounter some weird problems. Three users with 3 dymo labelwriter 400 Turbo printers using the same crystal report for an inventory label. The label print preview appears entirely different on one of the users where he sees two labels appear on one page where the page format appears larger than what I created.!!!?
One of the users cannot print- when getting the "PAge size was not large enough to format the contents of an object in the report. Error in File c:\doc~\TEMP~\Bin_label{xxxxxxxxxx}.rpt: Page header or footer longer than a page". The page headers and footers are suppressed. Any suggestions ore recommendations to try?

I have the a similar issue. I am using Crystal XI R2 also. I am trying
to print barcode labels using DataWorks Bar 39 font.
On one computer it prints everything on one line but the other computer
it wraps it to the next line??
