Hi group. We are still in the stage of testing V8 and I was doing a new
installation. Per the instructions, I tried a "typical" install rather than
"advanced". Everything ran, but when it came time to install the
manufacturing software, it said I didn't have Openedge installed. I had to
uninstall Openedge and do an advanced installation to get it to work.
So has anyone used a typical install? If it doesn't work, why would they
even bother to mention it?
