If I understand your post correctly....

All the Vantage forms(screens) utilize dataviews. A lot of them match
the undelying tables but there are some that are a custom mix from
various tables which can be maddening at times when you are in
developer mode trying to do a customization....

the calls to the database are done through the *AD* and *IF* dlls so
I don't think you would be able to find the 'SQL' behind the views...

While poking around in developer mode, it looks like some screens use a
view as their data source.

Is there some place to see the SQL behind these views to find out the
underlying tables?
