Vacation Accrual Issues. Error or Open4 connect?

Something odd here. Could it just be operator error?

During the last payroll, vacation did not accrue.
Ok, that could be that the operator missed
the check box to accrue vacation.

Then we manually updated all 'vacation remaining'.
Ran reports, all looked good.

Come Monday morning the 'vacation remaining'
mysteriously increased by the 'Vac accrue rate'

Besides the check bow at payroll time
What else could cause vacation to accrue?
Could it be our connection to Open4?
