Vanatage 409C Misc Charge Error

Hi Kirstin,

Thanks for your response.

I was thinking about doing that. I also tried to create a BPM to get around the issue, but ran into some problems with it. However, Epicor did send me a one-off program to fix the issue yesterday. I tested it and it works, so we are good to go now. I was pleasantly surprised by their fast turnaround on our support call.

Has anyone else had this problem in 409C and if so how did you correct it? Epicor tech support is telling me there was a SCR issued for this problem and that it was fixed in Epicor 905, which doesn't do me a lot of good at this point.

Hi All,

We are currently running Vantage 803.409C and are having problems entering sales order miscellaneous charges with an amount less than zero. We used to be able to do this in the 406A version. Has anyone else had this problem in 409C and if so how did you correct it? Epicor tech support is telling me there was a SCR issued for this problem and that it was fixed in Epicor 905, which doesn't do me a lot of good at this point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am not sure, but sometimes, for negatives you can enter qty as negative instead of amount - will that work? Try in your TEST system first...

Hi Karen,

Thanks for your reply.

It appears that negative numbers will not work, at least in sales order entry. When you enter a negative quantity you get a "method does not match the mask" message. Thansk for trying!

Can you put the amount (as a positive) into the discount amount field on a $0 line?
