[vantage][4.0] Packing slip

The dbf files will normally go to the Vantage work directory in V4. Try
looking in C:\Vntgwork or what ever you named you
Vantage working directory.

Are you sure your dbf files are in the c:\temp\directory?? You may need to
set the location to another directory. Mine are stored in c:\vntgwork
Directory. (To change them - Go to Database - Set Location)

I am testing Vantage 4.0 right now and ran in to Illegal operation (Prowin32)
error every time I try to generate a packing slip. I am on patch 811 and all my
other reports seem to be fine. Also I noticed that the reports are still
pointing to the old Vantage installation and that was a surprise to me. Any
suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Oleg,

In report builder, go to preferences go to Database Connections - change this to always prompt. then open your reports and change to the correct drive and directory. In 4.0 they changed the directory.

In Crystal reports you need to verify database on your reports.

Change the c:\temp\shiphead.dbf To c:\VNTGWORK\shiphead.dbf in your
location parameters.

I assume the error occurs when trying to preview in Crystal, if so you need
to run the report (preview) in Vantage to create the .dbf locally.
