Vantage 5.1 on Vista

I am running Aero (however my machine was configured with aero and the
extra bloat of Vista in mind) and I did not install the DLL.

Thanks Mark, are you running Aero? I am also wondering did you have to
install the DLL's like I have
had to do in the past on some Win98 machines.

We run 5.1 and I was able to install it on a Vista business test machine
without any problems. We have our network drives mapped through a login
script and I didn't have to turn off UAC for it to work. Unfortunately,
we do not run data collection.

I was wondering if anyone has had success with loading Vantage 5.1 on
Vista?
We are currently on 5.1 and I tried yesterday unsuccessfully to load it
on a
home premium machine for testing. I did figure out that you have to shut
off
UAC on the user account before the client setup will see the mapped
drive.
It starts the install but when I get to the Progress network client
portion,
I get an error saying: Could not execute the extrernal program
X:\progress\netsetup\setup.exe When I attempted reloading without
Progress,
it completed.
Unfortunately when I tried to run data collection, I got the
CONTROL_FRAME:
SPLITER1 Invalid message, followed by the UNABLE TO REALIZE
CONTROL-FRAME
WIDGET (4025) message.

Thanks,
