I guess WHEN is the key word here and I haven't heard any official, cut in
stone statements or dates from epicor or progress on report builder. I have
even tried contacting progress directly. But the unofficial word is progress
10 will start phasing out report builder. Why do you think epicor is urging
consideration of Crystal "going forward".

I don't put any reports in 'Reports' menus but rather all home grown
reports are in their own seperate sub-menus.

At least it's getting looked at to get fixed. I'm one of those geniuses that
has about 600 report builder reports hung off the menus. First I find out
report builder is going away, then I hear menu structure changes aren't
going thru, For me to convert I might as well just go purchase a new ERP

We did a test conversion to ver 6 two weeks ago, and none of our custom menu
structure came over. We called Epicor, and they were able to duplicate the
problem with our menu structure. They told me last week that it has gone up

We have been running Vamtage 6.00 (Upgraded from 5.2) 2 weeks ago. It is a
fairly clean release. Only problems we have had so far are.
1) AR Invoice Entry Cannot enter Invoice number to select invoice,
must browse
2) Customer Shipping, Always prompts with stock is to go into
negative, veven when stock is plentiful. We have to set the part class to
not stop shipment on negative stock
3) Different functionality in Engineering Workbench (Cannot check
in until completed date in group is filled in)
4) Re-entering all our menus and reports
Thats it and we run most Vantage modules
