Richard, I've changed the colors in the [colors] section of the mfgsys.ini
file, saved it with a different name, and referenced it in the modified
.mfg
file that starts the color changed Vantage session.

The following colors change the data entry fields to a red background with
white letters.

color19=49,106,197
color20=0,0,0
color21=239,237,222

If you don't have a color chart to get the red,green,blue values, you can
use MS Paint/Colors/Edit Colors/Define Custom Colors/and the slide bar on
the right to get values for any color.

We're setting up a new database and company to run alongside our existing
live db.
The new database will have separate .mfg and .ini files.
In order to reduce the chance of users logging onto and transacting in the
wrong environment, I'd like to make the new system visibly different from
the existing one.
Does any one have a list or advice of how to set the "color" settings in
the
.ini file so that the new system would operate under a new colour scheme
without users having to manually change the colour schemes?
All advice gratefully received.

Regards,
Richard
