Vantage 6.1 Quote vs BOM details

Unless you have the sub assembly marked as "pull as sub-assembly", then it
should not pull it into the current job, since it is technically just
another material. However, if it is marked as "pull as sub-assembly" then I
believe that it is considered to be part of that job. For the system to
automatically mark the part as "pull as sub-assembly" I believe that you
would need to have that part marked as a non-stock item......and there are a
lot of consequences on this, so I would test this in a test environment
first.

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage 6.1 Quote vs BOM details

We are trying to pull details into a BOM from a quote. The quoted BOM has a
subassembly and when we go to get the details, it shows two lines to get
details from (the main assembly and the sub assembly). When we pull the
details for the main BOM it does not include the sub assembly and we cannot
repull details to bring in the subassembly. Has anyone else tried this and
been succesful?

Thanks,
