Vantage 6.1 RB Question

Dale:

In your company maintenance, module configuration, Job Management, you can
change your time settings from hundredths of an hour to hours and minutes.
HOWEVER, I would be cautious about doing this -- speak to whomever does job
costing and payroll before you do it!!! We chose to use hundredths of an
hour INSTEAD of minutes because when you do calculations on the fields, you
don't have conversion issues. People get used to it after you explain it to
them, and it makes reporting much easier.

I will e-mail you my conversion hundredths to minutes Excel file off list.

Lydia
I am an extreme novice with RB, but have been able to muddle my way
through building a report. I am trying to list three fields:
LaborHed.ActualClockInDate
LaborHed.ActualClockInTime
LaborHed.EmployeeNum

The data displayed for ActualClockInTime is in a decimal format
(example: 6.75 which equates to 06:45 AM). I need it to display as
HH:MM AM/PM. I have tried the "calculated field" in RB, but obviously
do not have the correct syntax.

Can anyone suggest a way to get the correct formatting? Or does anyone
already have a RB report for this?

Thanks in advance.

The DspClockIn value is what the "ClockInTime" is rounded to using the "Clock in allowance time" settings in data collection configuration. What we are trying to get a report on is the actual time the employee clocked in. This will tell us if an individual is abusing the 10 minute grace period we give them for occaisional tardiness. I just need the ActualClockInTime formatted from a decimal format to an HH:MM format.

Thanks,
Dale
