Vantage 6.1 user level pc security

Power user is fine, if it let them be administrators then they can get into sections that you may not wish them to have access to.

I am trying to find out at what level security do I set users at on
their PC.s for Vantage. Do they need to be administrators or is a power
user adequate?

Normal (Non-Admin) works fine as well. You may need to give access to
the local C:\Epicor folder only.

Of course Admin is required for installation.

IMHO - Don't use the PowerUser group! NEVER use the PowerUser group!
Ever.

The PowerUser group was implemented/advocated by Microsoft to
work-around security and permissions issues with some programs
written/published pre-Windows2000 not working properly. It's been
almost a decade now since those new "security rules" were written into
the OS, and there are far better ways to deal with any straggling
software than to use the PowerUser group.
