Vantage 6.10.541 - Report Builder Question

One hint when dealing with jobs....it is often necessary to filter for assembly level zero (top level). Often in the linking you end up getting multiple instances of whole job related costs for each subassembly level. This will inflate figures. Especially of most jobs are one level so most look OK and then the odd one is higher than it should be. I can't swear this applies to your situation but it has bitten me more than once. Something to watchout for incase it does affect your report.

We've had an IT guy handling our reports for several years and now he's
gone so I'm plunged (head first) into doing it again. So far I've been
plodding along rather well as I relearn tables and joins and RB.

I have one report that no matter what I do...it doesn't work out
correct. I need to see the Job Production Standard, the ABOM
Production Standard and the Attained Production Standard (I know I need
to calculate this) for the Operation and Set-Ups on jobs we've closed.
There are also User Fields entered in the Part table that I need to be
part of this report. I believe I need the JOB OPER and PART OPR tables
as well, but can't seem to figure out what/how to join these tables so
the report is accurate.

If anyone can provide quick guidance (or a report that I can use for
this project) I'd be ever so grateful.

Sincerely,
Judy Havlik
