Couple of things.
You need to check the part is correctly flagged as purchased or
manufactured in the part master
On the part master, in the inventory/purchasing area, there are two
check boxes, process MRP and Generate PO suggestions. You need these
ticked.
Then your generation of suggestions due to parts being below minimum
should work, once you run MRP or generate PO suggestions.
Not sure about your demand problems, I notice demand never really shows
what I expect, so don't use it as a rule.
Cheers
Stuart

We don't use that - we don't use the system necessarily for material
management....either. I would like to know the DEMAND for items
though which I though as long as there was an open order for an item
(that would be demand)....against what is available....leaving me
with what needs to be run....
