Vantage 8.0 Implementation MS Project

Dick and Jerry,

In the Support section of EPICweb, Epicor has recently published a lot of
the information that it previously provided in the Upgrade Toolkit. You may
want to check out Vantage
<https://epicweb.epicor.com/SupportVantage/Resources/Vantage%208.0%20Upgrade
%20Program.aspx> 8.0 Upgrade Program.

That is just an excel document. I am actually looking for something
more detailed than that.

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage 8.0 Implementation MS Project

I am trying to develop a Microsoft Project Implementation Plan for
Vantage 8.0.

We are currently on 6.1 and have been on Vantage for almost 9 years.
Our plan is to treat this as if it were a "New" implementation in
order to fix past mistakes and have a system where we don't have to
worry about bad data. We want to be able to implement this by
October 2006 and I am trying to formalize our implementation plan.

Has someone in your organization developed a Microsoft Project plan
that has all the basic details of what needs to get done, who should
be doing it (Department or role).

We have MS Project 2000 and it would be far easier to modify an
existing template than having to create one from scratch.

I just want to make sure I have the basics covered as well as being
able to add Company specific details as necessary.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks!

When I received my copy of V8, I received a upgrade toolkit binder which
has an upgrade project plan in it.
You can request it from your CAM.
