Vantage 8.0 Mfg. Details on Quote

Hi Ben,
The answer is yes. The beauty of 8.0 is its flexibility :-)
Here's what I do...
I tear off the manufacturing details tree tab and size it so it fits in the
left column (so I can still see the top section of the left column), then
right click and save layout. Now you can easily click back and forth
between details and the tree.

Also, in Line/MFG Details/Engineering tab---this is meant to be the stuff
you clicked and dragged in 6.1--now you have the ability to only populate
those tabs with the data you are actually going to use, i.e. the resource
groups, part numbers, operations, etc. you use most. Or, if you prefer, you
can select all and pull in all of the listings.

Once those tabs are populated, you can then click, drag and drop those
items onto the tree like in 6.1.

I don't usually use those tabs, I just right click on the tree and either
pick add operation or add material or add resource group. That works
fastest for me, but our quotes are only 8-10 operations long with maybe 5
materials.

Hope this helps

In Vantage 6.1 when you would add Mfg. Details to a quote, you could
easily drag it from the right to the tree on the left.

In Vantage 8.0, this has all changed. Is there a way to make Vantage
8.0 less cumbersome on the Mfg. Details part of the quote?

Maybe I am missing something.
