Vantage 8.0 still schedules in the past

And this feature works as far as I know. We have that feature set to not
allow scheduling in the past, so if I backward schedule a job in job entry,
and the start date ends up before today's date, it then forward schedules
from today and gives you a warning message "The job is currently scheduled
to finish 01/09/06. It will not meet its required date of 11/07/05" and
makes the start date today's date.

Looks like Vantage 8.0 still schedules in the past.

By that I mean if you have an operation with transactions against it, it
will remain in the schedule for that day no matter what.

Ex: yesterday we ran OP 10, but only 50% complete. Then I run the
global finite scheduling, today it now says to run the rest of OP 10
YESTERDAY!

How can I go back in time to run the job????

I was specifically told this was fixed in 8.0, and now it looks like it
isn't. This was the main reason for our upgrade...

Thanks Vantage....

Anyone have the answer to this??

I think I heard at perspectives that they added a flag to the company
configs as to whether you want the system to schedule in the past or not -
is there a flag there that needs checking or un-checking?
