Vantage 8.03.400 on Linux using mySQL?

We started out on Linux with Progress, but switched to Windows because
there doesn't appear to be anyone on staff at Epicor that is
comfortable supporting Linux. We had permission issues for several
months of piloting that never got resolved. If you are very skilled in
Linux, you may be able to help yourself, but don't expect much support
from Epicor. My favorite quote from Epicor support, "Wow, you are the
second Linux call we have had today."
