Hello. We are implementing barcoding for Receipts, Issues, transfers
and other Inventory processes. We are using AMM with the Motorola
Handheld model MC9090G.
With AMM, the receipt transaction adds the parts to a material queue
which can be accessed by the handheld. Processing the parts in AMM
reduces the material queue. This works the same for releasing job
material to the queue.
Our users are concerned about not being required to scan the part
number for receipts and issues. They think that scanning the part
number will reduce the chance of issuing/receiving the wrong part.
Am I missing something or is scanning the part number for issues and
receipts not an option?
