Vantage 8.03.305x will not print XML reports in Windows Vista. You
must upgrade to 8.03.400d for that functionality. I have been using
Vista on my machine (I am the IT Manager) for several months. I
would urge anyone not to make any attempt to upgrade to Vista as of
yet. It still has lots of issues, not just with Vantage.
From a practical standpoint, is it possible to run Vantage 8.03 in
production with some clients running Windows 2000? We just purchased
Vantage 8 and are starting our implementation soon.

From a cursory search of this group, it looks like the issue is really
the Crystal Reports runtime, and there are some workarounds for that
to make sure it has the right libraries.

Are there other issues? I'd of course like to purge Windows 2000 from
my network and have almost all XP out there (no Vista, yikes!), but
from a practical standpoint that may not be possible (although this
could give me some further leverage).

Out of curiosity, are folks running on Vista?
