Vantage 8.03 : BPM Question

The advanced section for all intensive purposes works much like the
action execute 4gl code. There are a lot of variables depending on what
you are trying to accomplish. If you want a conditional action, and
your condition is complex or variable, use the query condition. Whether
you use advanced or execute 4gl code for your action section is probably
moot unless you're doing something extreme.

When using the Advanced Section for Conditions, what is the trigger for
the Actions to fire?

I have code working in the advance section of Actions; however, the code
does not prevent the incorrect data being saved.

I can think of two possible solutions.Move the code to Conditions, but I
don't know what makes the Actions to fire (which I use the Raise the
Exception option).

Or...keep the code in the Actions Advance section, but I don't how to
prevent the incorrect data from being saved.

Thanks
Clinton
