Vantage 8.03 Epicor portal/service connect question

Has anyone had any luck successfully integrating a service connect workflow with a portal view? I can't seam to get the portal view update to kick off the SC workflow. Created a workflow with conversion (and xslt mapping) and web service step.
I'm working with Vantage 8.03.408, SC v8.03, Portal v 8.2.5.

Figuring I just forgot something. Don't do this everyday...
