On the Click() event try this instead.

Private Sub btnHYDRA_Click(ByVal Sender As Object, ByVal
Args As System.EventArgs) Handles btnHYDRA.Click

'// ** Place Event Handling Code Here **

Process.Start("excel.exe", "c:\YourSpreadsheet.XLS")

End Sub

I have added a button to the AR Invoice Entry screen and I want to open
a spreadsheet from the button. I have tried variations of the following
code, but I'm not having any luck. We have Office 2007. Can anyone
tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Private Sub btnExcelBatch_MouseClick(ByVal Sender As Object,
ByVal Args As System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs) Handles
btnExcelBatch.MouseClick

'// ** Place Event Handling Code Here **

Process.Start("C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\Excel.exe 'c:\data\InvoiceBatch.xlsx'")

End Sub
