Vantage - Alert when new quote is created

 Chris,
Â
We also use a 'BAM' for an email alert, I sent you the .p program to your 'electrix' address, it will give you a general idea how this works.

We have a BAM working right now with a .p file that goes out to the salesrep on the quote when a new quote is created (our customers might call into our main location to obtain a quote but the salesrep follows-up on it). It includes information about the qutoe such as the quote num, customer, contact, etc. I'm not sure if this would be helpful to you or not. Let me know if you want more info on our alert.

Hi All,

We have a requirement where when we add a quote, we want an automatic email to go to a specific person in our building who will investigate the contact to make sure they have recently received literature etc.

What is the easiest way to do this?

Id prefer not to use tasks because they are very manual and not very good.

Thanks,

CHRIS

Hi Emily,

That sounds quite interesting. Not sure I know what to do with a .p file but it could save me some time.

Where does the Sale Rep come from?

Can it be set to go to a designated person at all times - i.e. not picking up on the Sales Rep field, but picking up on a pre-defined value?

How is it sent? By Email?

Cheers,
