Is there a way to set the user name in the Vantage Login so that a user does
not have to retype over the name?

For example, we have some PC's with generic logins: WELD_USER is a user on
a welding department computer. My Vantage User for that PC may be
"WELDDEPT", for example. So when the Login screen for Vantage appears, it
defaults to the Windows User Name and then they retype over it.

Not a huge deal, just thought I would ask.

I *do* know that you can modify the default.mfgsys file in the client config
and assign a username AND password. When I attempt to only set the user
name, it doesn't work because it's also expecting the pw in that condition.

Thanks!

Set the UserName Mode (can't remember the exact name to "LAST") basically
instead of passing the Windows User ID it will show you the "Last Used"
user id
