Vantage to Epicor 9 upgrade, all dates/times in TRANGLC are null

So, info in the Data Dictionary Viewer, and the 'old' TranDate + SysDate_ + SysTime fields, are just red herrings and you now use Key1 + 2 + 3.

We had a support call open with Epicor and they never told us this, we were advised by an Epicor partner in the end who's done some Service Connect work for us (www.dotnetit.co.uk) who have been above and beyond helpful.

The only concern we have now is that it appears that the 10080 conversion does not populate the FiscalYear + JournalCode + JournalNum + JournalLine for historical transactions which are again key fields for linking the TranGLc table onto others :(

We're still in the process of trying to upgrade from Vantage 8 to Epicor 9.05 and have found another data conversion issue that has brought things to a halt. The Vantage table GLJRNSRC from 9.04 onwards is obsolete and is replaced by TRANGLC, however, when running the 10080 conversion in 9.04 all rows created in TRANGLC have 'null' for the fields TRANDATE + SYSDATE + SYSTIME.

This has thrown us as we use those dates to assist linking from GLJRNDTL to GLJRNSRC and then on to other tables, and without those dates in TRANGLC many of our reports are screwed.

We have a support call open with Epicor, however, at least so far they are stating that we won't get any dates in TRANGLC which sounds very wrong to us ? (we see new rows created by native E9.05 processes creating rows with dates). Should the 10080 conversion, at the 9.04 level, create rows with dates ?

Thanks.
Our experience when we went to Epicor 9.0x - the data in the Tranglc was not reliable prior to the conversion. We created a new server when we went from vantage to EPicor 9.0x. Old reports were used for reporting - prior to conversion, and then we created new reports based on tranglc going forward.

Ditto here, regarding the TranGLC data, going from 8.03.408b to 9.04.504b.

not reliable prior to the conversion. We created a new server when we went
from vantage to EPicor 9.0x. Old reports were used for reporting - prior to

So, is it a given then that when running the conversion 10080 you'll never get any dates in the TRANGLC fields TRANDATE + SYSDATE + SYSTIME for historical data ?.

If this historical data never gets populated then how can you properly link rows in GLJRNDTL to for exampel the PARTTRAN table ? (GLJRNSRC, which is replaced with TRANGLC, used to allow this).

Thnaks.
