Vantage: User IDs stored in which table?

Hi Manasa,
I am not sure how I tie in the Authorized user to the Sales Territory? I only see Salespersons on the Sales Territory Maintenance. Authorized users are on WorkForce ID setup and even on that screen the only link to Sales Territory I see is the check box 'View All Territories' which is checked for all the users of our system (the ones having trouble versus the ones not having trouble viewing certain customers).

Can you please clarify?
Thanks,
Uzma
Hi everyone,
I am using Vantage 8.03.409C and have error messages appear for a couple of users only on certain Customer Master records Vantage Error "You do not have permissions to this record ".

I would like to compare records of these users with others who have no difficulty accessing any customer records but I can't figure out which table User Id data is stored. I can see the user id records using
System Management->Security Maintenance->User Security screen but that is not enough. Raw data needs to be compared from the database and so I need to know the table/tables user id info is stored.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.

UserFile is the table.

Thank You!

If it is the customer master files you get that issue with it is more than likely you have CRM…if that is the case, then it is probably a sales territory issue.  Check out the Work Force ID and what permissions they have there.

Hi Manasa,
Yes we have CRM and I think you are on the right track as to what problem we are facing here.

I briefly looked at the Work Force records for the 2 users with issues and see 'View All Territories' is checked for them, same as the user that has no problems looking at any customer data.

Can you please elaborate a little more for me, what to look for in WorkForce ID and where Sales Territory can be an issue with different users trying to access the same customer record?
Thanks!

First and foremost are these individuals that are having the issues “sales people”?

Manasa

Actually disregard my last email….just make sure they are authorized users under the sales territory that is on that customer.

Did you put a User account with permissions to the Sales Force ID?

Okay, let me investigate a bit and I will get back to you if I still have issues with users.
Appreciate your help, Thanks!
Have a good weekend.
How so? Not sure, if we did or not. SO how would I check to answer your question?

And did you mean WorkForce ID instead of Sales Force ID?
Thanks,
Uzma
