Vantage version releases

I was informed that there will not be a scr for the MPS fix. It will just
be fixed in version 409A due to it was a compile problem in version 409.

Steve

Mark,

If you try to run the MPS report you will get a DLL error message
The following application error was encountered:
The process caller couldn't find object
Epicor.Mfg.UI.App.Launch in Epicor.Mfg.UIRpt.MasterProductionSchedule

I will post the SCR number as soon as I get it.

Packing slip company header missing SCR 70342
Packing slip showing Sales Kit SCR 71359

What's the issue with the MPS Report? Do you have a call ID?

Thanks,

Mark W.

I am getting so frustrated with the patch releases with bugs. Version 409A
is due to release next Monday to try to fix the missing DLL files that did
not get compiled in version 409 along with some of the other bugs. Version
408 is still an active version however they are not fixing the current bugs.
All you get is that it will be fixed in version 9.05.

I can't go to version 9.05 due to the bugs that have not been fixed in it.
Now I get the news that the next version of 9 is due out soon.

Sorry just had to vent!

So I was looking to go from .408b to .409 but that sounds like a major issue. What .dll files are affected? I'm guessing I should wait for .409A and upgrade all the way to .409A.

For what it's worth, we don't consider E9 viable
until it works on SQL 2008 and Server2008.

Also, no more "Standard" SQL & Server
versions...we're biting the bullet and going to
the Enterprise versions. We find that
troubleshooting Vantage/E9 is easier with the tool sets in Enterprise.
