Warren,
Standard and Professional are both single user licenses. Standard works
fine for modifying the custom reports in Vantage. If you want to do reports
directly from the Progress database via ODBC, you need the Professional
version. ODBC access isn't available in the Standard Version. I'm not sure
what else they added in the Developer version.

Wendy;
When I bought (not using yet) CR v8.0, I was told, the differences between
the 3 are:
Standard is single user
Professional I believe gives you 5 licenses and more functionality
Developer Provides the greatest functionality, more
programming and the multiple users
This isn't necessarily total fact but the best that I have. We have found
the best pricing from a mail order place called Programmers Paradise. Web
site is programmersparadise.com.

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Reports v8.0
Hi everyone! I'm going to purchase the new Crystal Reports v8.0 for the
eManufacturing upgrade. Do I need the Standard, Professional, or
Developer's edition? Currently, I have the standard edition for
customizing. I'm assuming that the Standard 8.0 is the same?
