VB Code to change Enter into Tab

Changing the barcodes or the programming on the barcode readers might be another option.
I know some barcode readers allow you to append control characters after the scan.

Does anyone know how to change the Enter key to work like the tab key?

On some modules we want to customize them, so that the user can use a bar code reader. After reading a bar code, our bar code readers press enter... we would like it so that after it reads the bar code the cursor automatically moves to the next field.
In pretty much any screen, go to Tools > Options. Open the Global Options
and then Hot Keys. Check the box that says "Handle Enter as Tab"

Can you make that a global setting, or does everyone have to set it up on their computer?

Each person has to set it up on their account. You can change computers and
the setting remains on the account. I believe there is a way to push
settings like this to all users but I have not looked into it.
