VB Forms HELP

If you our talking about Visual Basic I had around 40 fields on a
form. Not all of them were visible. If you can give me a more
detailed descrition of what the error is, or if you our even getting
an error I might be able to help you our more.

HELP!! I'm using Vantage 4.0.

I am trying to set up a VB form to capture extra Sales Order line item data.
when I tried to save the file, I get this error message, **VBFormDetail
record not on file. (138).

Then, if I go back into the VB Form, it is blank! I have made VB forms in
the past on 6 different forms and never had this problem. Does anybody know
what this is or how to fix it???

Thanks,

Sarah
Thanks for the feedback. I did try recycling, and then I tried deleting
everything from the form and recycling and I get the error when trying to
recycle and when trying to save. So, now the form is blank, but I can't use
it. I did try calling vantage support, but I was on hold so long that I
just left a voice-message and they haven't called me back yet. I was hoping
to get an easy answer here, since I was supposed to have this done today:)

By the Way, does anybody know the limit to the number of total fields on a
VB Form? I read on Eranet that could be my problem, but I only had a total
of maybe 12 or 15 fields, and I NEED to have about 20!

Thanks!

One limit is how many VB fields are set aside in each table. But usually
you run out of space on the form well before you can use them
all. HOWEVER... I just downloaded the 4.0.814 patch, and this may have
been alleviated:

XA Vantage Basic SCR 996 4.00.813
Vantage Basic forms can now be stretched to be made larger. This is a new
feature.
