We are having a request to know who created a vendor and a date that the vendor was created.
Unfortunately we did not have data directive to capture change log when this vendor was created. With this situation do we have an alternative to get the information?
Nope.
Check appserver logs if you have them. Might be able to track down a vendornum depending on your logging settings.
We had the same request. I have a BPM and a custom field to capture that. For the old suppliers, we went for the oldest PO date and used it as a supplier added date. Not exactly perfect, but it is better than nothing.
