If I am developing for a factory that is running e10 on their machines, will I run into issues developing BPM’s on kinetic? It isn’t just going to BPM’s but that’s the first thing that came to mind. I know and read about a few instances of methods in REST having slight differences too.
My intuition is I should have the exact same version as what is running on our floors but that may be an issue to get the proper versions onto this new pc.
I would recommend developing on the same version. You won’t be able to transfer customizations from Kinetic to E10.
You can go forward but not backwards
If your version is greater than theirs you are going to be hurting
