Success!
Thanks to many great suggestions, I was able to solve my problem.
Apparantly, all of the other pc's that don't have this problem have
both Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader installed, both in version 7.0.
I only had Adobe Acrobat for some reason. I downloaded Adobe
Reader, set it up as my default PDF viewer, and it worked. So there
you have it. If anyone else is having this same issue, that may be
the solution.
