I’m hoping someone can help me out with this. We are in the process of upgrading our Epicor version, and I have been tasked with re-scheduling all of our automatic processes. The problem is that we have a handful of functions that have been scheduled, and when I try to view what function has been scheduled by double clicking on the task in the system monitor, I receive an error message.
For all other scheduled tasks, when I double click in the system monitor, a pop out of the menu that was scheduled appears and allows me to view all the settings that were selected at the time of scheduling.
Does anyone know if this is possible for functions? There is no user description or alternate field I can find that points to which function is actually running.
What version are you running? I’m running 2023.2.15 and when I double-click on a schedule function in the system monitor, the Schedule Epicor Function dialog opens as expected.
It sounds like you are trying to get the parameters from your current version to set in the new version. If it’s a bug that’s preventing you from getting to the parameters from System Monitor, you can probably get the info you need with a BAQ -
We are currently running version 2021.2.21 and are upgrading to version 2024.1.5
I built a BAQ as per your recommendation and was able to find the Library and Function IDs for the scheduled tasks. Thanks for your help!
P.S. It does appear to be a bug in version 2021. After rescheduling the functions in version 2024.1.5, I was able to double-click on and view the scheduled task in the system monitor without receiving any errors.
