Vista e-mails Blank Title 87226

We are on Vantage 8.03.407A and we see this at least once a month. The fix is to stop and start the ProcessServer and TaskAgent and then go into Global Alert Error Message Log and resend all the stuck emails.

As long as we are on the topic, I have another problem with alert emails. It started after one of our Vantage patches or service packs. The To: address as it appears in Outlook (we have our own Exchange 2007 Server) looks like "info@" instead of "info@..." If you look at the email header information you will see "To: "info@" <domain.com info@...>". I can't figure out what is causing this corrupt address, but it is only cosmetic, the email still makes it to its destination. Like I said, it didn't happen when we first started with Vantage, and it doesn't do it with any of our other programs that use SMTP to send emails, so I can only conclude it is something weired between Vantage and Exchange.

Subject: [Vantage] Vista e-mails

Â
We are having a problem with Vista generated e-mail delivery. This problem occurs about once a month. The e-mail delivery stops and we end up with alert errors in the Alert Error log under Global Alerts. We noticed this happen this week after we started our training database service. We normally do not have our test or training database services running. We are on Vista 803.408A. Has anyone else encountered problems with the Vista or Vantage generated e-mails delivery? If so, where you able to resolve it and what was the solution?
