Vista Ultimate and Vantage 6.1

Thanks Jason.
With UAC on, I made the user a local admin but still no joy.
However, turned UAC off and rebooted and everything was OK! Mapped drives visible, Vantage client installed OK etc etc.

Richard,

We usually turn on UAC and make the user a local admin temporarily when installing software. Try doing those first and see if that helps.

Can you see the mapped drive in Explorer? If so then try the above first..

One of our managers has a laptop installed with Vista Ultimate OS.
I've joined him to our network domain OK and mapped drives as normal however when running the MFGCLIENTSETUP I cannot see the mapped drive for the Vantage software in the drop-down.
In fact I can't see any mapped drives only local ones.

No doubt I'm doing something dumb, question is can anybody tell me what it is?
