VMware & 9 Issue

Did you set up the Admin Console? This is new for Epicor 9.

Hello,

I'm trying to get a test set-up of Epicor 9 running on a VM clone of your
live server. I was able to create the clone and install the software needed
for 9, but I've run into a problem. I can't get any of the databases to
start in Progress Explorer, not even the training db that comes with the 9
install, they all time out. Vantage 8 ran fine on the clone so I know that
it's possible to run in the VM environment.

The db log file show line after line of this:

(-----) Error 0: 'The operation completed successfully. ' while attempting to
connect to AdminServer at HOWELL2.

I've place a support call with Epicor but they were not able to figure out
the issue, and said they'd look into it last Thursday, and I haven't heard
back yet. Any help, thoughts, ideas would be great.

Trying to play with 9 a little bit before Perspectives.
