Does anyone use the ACC WMS for Warehouse Management on Epicor?

I was today years old when I heard of ACC WMS.

Ditto.

OK, is this it?

So it’s a Biscit (EKW) competitor maybe?

Doesnt seem like it.. We heavily use EKW in Shipping, Receiving, Cycle Counting, ETC.

Epicor Kinetic Warehouse (EKW)

Seems more industry specific based off the description from the link. Which would explain why it’s new to me.

The webmaster did a lousy job of lining up the screenshots to the paragraphs. Like literally none are in sync.

I might be biased … ** I work for Biscit and train people on EKW every day  **

At a glance, I think EKW is a better product. The first thing I notice is that they are showing a standard iPhone or other cell phone. That tells me that they aren’t designing these with embedded barcode readers in mind, they are using the camera feature.

I could devil’s advocate this and say, well that means any device with a camera would be compatible… true, but I also expect that you would lose the “intelligent scanning” capabilities you get with an embedded barcode scanner like in the Honeywell/Zebra devices.

Also, the devices with the embedded scanners have an independent scan button/trigger which would make scanning a seamless part of the workflow, rather than a pause, bring up the camera, align and wait.

One more thing you get with proper scanner is range. What is shown on their website would be limited by the camera capabilities. A device with a true embedded scanner may have a range of 80ft.

Is EKW an add on or how do I get information on that to work with Epicor?

Yes, it’s an add-on product. If you’re going to Insights they’ll be there to and can show you in person. Sounds like ACC WMS is also an addon unless I’m mistaken.

You can get EKW by talking to your Epicor CAM. It’s made by Biscit, but sold only by Epicor.

It is “embedded” within Epicor, so even though it is an extra cost, it is easy to deploy. It keeps all of your data within your Epicor database and updates in real time.

Thank you!!! This is very helpful!

That is what I was asking about.

I am going to Insights and interesting is seeing in person.
