Thanks to all of you...I will work on the Pack-and-Go part. I think I knew
this a long time ago.

I'll take this a little further. I created a self playing CD Powerpoint
presentation for HVMC last year and it has worked very well. We had 600
copies burned and have sent them to many prospective customers.
The Autorun.inf file I used was:
[autorun]
open=ppview32.exe present\present.lst
The real trick to get it burned as self-playing (without buying special
software) was to fool the packaged powerpoint viewer into looking on the CD
for the presentation rather than the original location on the C: (or
whatever) drive. The PowerPoint Pack-n-Go Wizard builds in the location.
So I had to burn the "raw" presentation (.ppt) on a CD and pack-n-go from
there to a second CD. It took a lot of trial and error but eventualy I got
it to fire right up when I put the CD in the drive (assuming autoplay is
turned on for drive).
I'll search my notes from last year and see if I can find more details on
what worked.

Not sure about Power Point specifically, but...
a text file called autorun.inf is like autoexec.bat for the c: drive.
As an example, the contents of one from an autorun driver disk I have in my
hand is...
[autorun]
open=setup.exe
icon=setup.exe
change the icon to the icon file you want, and the open to the name of the
file you want to run.
Starting PowerPoint might be harder, but should be similar.

Good morning:
Does anyone out there know how to set up a PowerPoint presentation so that
if I give someone a cd, when they put the cd into their computer it
automatically launches the presentation. Our sales department is driving my
craz(ier) with this.
Thanks a bunch,
Lydia
