Web Services - Windows Controls

i too have been attempting to do this, if fact we had a Epicor
development expert on site for a day and half working on web services.
He did the concept program from the developer guide and it took him
about 6 hours to get it to work. We have decide to not use web services
based on this experience as well as some of the comments that he made
about how you have to do adds and updates with their web services. if
you want more information feel free to contact me off list I love to
vent.

Subject: [Vantage] Web Services - Windows Controls

Aside from problems with Web Services after patching to V8.03, I am
trying to test web services by creating a simple windows form that uses
the partservice to populate a combo box as shown in the Developer
Guide.

However I am not a C# programmer as it seems everyone who writes the
Epicor documentation is. I guess I am just a lowly VB.Net programmer
who is trying to make this scenario work as a proof of concept for a
client who has requested using web services for integration into their
e-commerce site.

I am new to the whole web services arena.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Any code snippets would be helpful.

Rhanks
