Subject: [Vantage] Weird Purchasing Trivia

Seemed like a good subject line for this ....

If you goto www.dartek.com and search for "Memorex black" you can find:

*** Memorex black CD-R's - 50 pack - $ 19.99 - Dartek # 11072

If you goto www.epinions.com and search for "Memorex black" you can find:

*** Lowest price = $ 15.09 --- @ Dartek --- if you click the link you end up
at Dartek's website --- looking at Dartek # 3242-11072

What's weird is that the external search engine finds the discounted page
but the search engine on Dartek's home page does not.

I've seen this 3 or 4 times in the last few weeks on different vendor's
websites which suggests to me that they have there own webpage search set to
"Hide" the discounted prices that the "Show" to people who are using sites
like epinions ...

The games people play ...
