Weird Request to display other than Message Alert Box

Patrick,

Look into having Vantage bring it into the copy buffer (don't remember
the syntax) but your .p can populate the copy paste buffer without
displaying the results in a box. Then they just paste in the field you
want. The other option I would suggest is populate a screen value of a
field on the VBForm. Have them copy it from there (gives historical
look back and reporting options as well).

If I create a .p script file to run on a VBFORM button to multiply two
fields then display the results, is their another option other than a
"Message Alert Box" that is simple to code in. What I need is the
ability to
cut and paste the calculated number.

Example: Material Surcharge
VBFORM button on the InvcDtl line to Multiply the pieces * the part
weight *
the material surcharge, cut the number and paste it in when next adding
a
misc charge.
